Bataan Death March
This was a march/ forcible transfer of around 80,000 war prisoners in the Philippnes by the Japanese. In this transfer tons of th eprisoners were killed and this went down as a war crime by the Japanese. -
Battle of the Coral Sea
This was battle between Japenese and American aircraft carriers it was for control of south pacfic. This was a battle won by the Japanese in a tactical stand point but a US victory stratgeically becasue it set up for one of the major turning point invasions in the Pacfic. -

This was a US response to Pearl Harbor that was the most important naval battle in the Pacfic. In this battle the US bombed four huge Japanese carriers turning the war in US favor. -
Battle of Stalingrad
This was a battle that was a huge turning point in Ally favor just because of the amount of German loss in the battle. This was the Germans attacking the Soviet Union for the control of the city of Stalingrad but in the end the Soviets dominated Germany and destoryed huge amounts of German forces. A major attack of German forces on the allies intended to cut there force in half and force a huge turn in Germanys favor. The attack failed and the Allies had won this battle was mostly ground based and it was a major turning point in Allies favor. -
