Battle of Anietam
Concidered as the bloodiest day in U.S. military history as Gen. Robert E. Lee and the Confederate Armies get stopped at Antietam in state of Maryland by McClellan and the superior Union forces. By the time of night fall 26,000 men are dead, wounded, or missing. Lee then withdraws to Virginia. -
