Magnavox Odyssey
This was one of the first consoles ever made! It was made by Ralph Baer. It had 12 fun games that the whole family could play. One cool feature of the Odyssey is not using graphics. Instead of that, they would use plastic overlays and tape them, to the television. The Odyssey was also part board game. It included dice, playing cards, and even poker chips. Lastly, another cool feature, is that it was meant to be educational. Everything there was not harmful and kid-friendly. -
Nintendo 64
The Nintendo 64 was made in 1900 by Nintendo! The first console to have three-dimensional graphics! Also, this had many different color models which were new and interesting! It also introduced some of the best games we know to history like Mario and Donkey Kong! They both have been improving over the years and later models. -
Xbox series X and Playstation 5
Both of these consoles are the most recent. Together, they are called NEW GENERATION CONSOLES. They came out in 2020. The Xbox is made by Microsoft and the Playstation was made by Sony. One interesting feature that both of these consoles have is my personal favorite, be able to run at 120 frames per second. They both can also load resume games extremely fast. Lastly, both consoles have "passes" that are sold for money, but as a result, you get many games free!
