Nintendo NES
Nintendo NES had some very popular games like Metroid (August 6, 1986) and Super Mario Bros. 2. (October 9, 1988) -
Sega Genesis
A lot of good games were played on this system like Street Fighter II (February 1991) and Pulseman (July 22, 1994). -
Neo Geo
The Neo Geo was the next step into gaming for games like Metal Slug (1996) and Garou: Mark of The Wolves (November 26, 1999) was played on. -
Nintendo SNES
The Nintendo SNES is much like the NES but it was more improved and this was a great console for games like Super Mario World (August 23, 1991) and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past (April 13, 1992) -
3DO
the 3DO was an easier way to play some of the classic games and new games like Street Fighter II (February 1991) and Star Control II (November 1992). -
Sega Saturn
The Sega Saturn came out just a month before the first Playstation and some of the games that were played on it were Virtua Cop II (1995) and the first Resident Evil game (March 22, 1996) -
Playstation
The first Playstation came out then later some of the popular games that were played on it like Crash Bandicoot (September 9, 1996) and Tomb Raider (October 15, 1996). -
Nintendo 64
The handheld Nintendo 64 was a game-changer since you could play your games while you were at a friends house and on the road and some of the popular games that were played were Super Mario 2 (June 2, 1996) and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (November 21, 1998) -
Dreamcast
The Dreamcast came out around this time and some of the games that were on it were Crazy Taxi (February 1999) and Metal Gear Solid 3 (November 9, 2004). -
Playstation 2
The Playstation 2 took the gaming market by storm with some of the popular games like Metal Gear Solid 3 (November 17, 2004) and God of War 2 (March 13, 2007). -
Xbox
The first Xbox Console came out along with the games Fable (September 14, 2004) and Halo 2 (November 9, 2004) being few of the most popular games at their time. -
Gamecube
The Gamecube was one of the iconic game consoles much like the Playstation and xbox with games like Super Smash Bros. Melee (November 21, 2001) and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (December 13, 2002) being on it. -
Gameboy Advance SP
The Gameboy Advance SP was much like the original Gameboy Advance but it was smaller and had a bit more functions to it but the some of the games that were played on it was Metroid Fusion (November 18, 2002) and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (November 4, 2004). -
Nintendo DS
The Nintendo DS was a very popular gaming device just for those moments you couldn't play on the console or you were out somewhere and two of the games that were played on there was Mario Kart DS (November 14, 2005) and Mega Man Zero Collection (June 8, 2010). -
Xbox 360
When the Xbox 360 dropped, it blew the market and some of the games that you were able to play that were highly popular were Bioshock (August 21, 2007) and Halo Reach (September 14, 2010). -
Playstation 3
A year after the Xbox 360 came out the Playstation 3 came out having much of the same effect as Xbox did on the market with some of the games that you were able to play were LittleBigPlanet (October 21, 2008) and The Last of Us (June 14, 2013) -
Wii
Wii came out with high hopes and met with those high hopes with some of the most fun games on Wii like Wii Sports (November 19, 2006) and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (January 31, 2008). -
PlayStation 4
The Playstation 4 was the most highly anticipated game console before the announcement of PS5 but it came with the some of the most highly played games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (May 18, 2015) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (October 26, 2008) -
Xbox One
Just a few day after PS4 came the Xbox One around and it had much of the same effect as PS4 with some of the games that you were able to play on are Assassin's Creed Odyssey (October 2, 2018) and Gears 5 (September 6, 2019).
