Martime Union (New Brunswick, Nove Scotia, and Prince Edward Island
They decide to meet in charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, to discuss a Martime union based on their common interests as a martime union. Some leaders in the Martime region wanted a union of three Alantic colines (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. -
Charlottetown confernce
Charlottetown Conference opens to discuss the confederation of British North America colonies. -
Quebec confernce
Quebec Conference opens to continue confederation talks. ( It will settle the fundamentals upon which the British North American Act will be based.) -
Colines of Vancouver Island
Colonies of Vancouver Island and British Columbia are combined into one colony named British Columbia. -
Lodon Conference
The London Conference passes resolutions which are redrafted as the British North America Act. -
Queen Victoria the Dominion of Canada
On monday July 1st 1867, market squares and open places in front of public bulidings were packed with people eager to hear the reading Queen Victoria's proclamation that the United Province of Canada, Nova scotia, and New Brunswick had been untied into one Dominion under the name of Canada. -
