    The breakout Microsoft Windows edition that finally created an OS to rival that of Mac OS. Microsoft Windows 3.0 went on to sell over 10 millions units.

    SunDisk (Now known as SanDisk) created the first commercially available solid state drive for the low price of $1000! With such a price you would get a huge 20 MB of storage.

    In 1995 DVDs were introduced to the market and took off as they were superior in every way to VHS tapes and compact discs. Due to the previous format wars between Betamax and VHS, to avoid the pitfalls of their predecessors, IBM worked with competitors to create a standardized DVD format.

    Google! (Initially released with the exclamation point) is a search engine released in 1998 in direct competition with Ask Jeeves! Google slowly grew overtime to become the tech juggernaut that it is today. The world google is now synonymous with "search it up online".
