Linux is open source operating system invented in 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux become a power house that went up against the reign of the proprietary operating systems like Windows and UNIX. Linux made commercial entities comfortable with open source software and blazing a trail for other open source software in corporate offices. -

1990's was the beginning of the internet created by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN. I don't think much needs to be said about how important this invention is, but for the sake of my grade I will anyway. The internet is what fire is too cavemen; from things like social media to online class, it is of the most important inventions of all time. -
