On March 1, 1938, founding chairman Byung-Chull Lee started a business in Taegu, Korea, with 30,000 won. Samsung is now one of Apple's fiercest competitors. -
Apple is founded
By Steve jobs, Ronald Wayne and Steve Wozniak in Cupertina, California. -
Apple I computer released.
This was the design and created by Steve Wozniak. It was the first computer with a mouse. -
Apple II computer was released.
It was sold for 17 years until it was discontinued in 1981. It was primarily designed by Steve Wozniak, whilst Steve Jobs mostly did the advertising. This was the same year Apple I computer was discontinued. -
The company had 250 people by now.
At this point, Apple had successfully sold Apple I and were successfully selling Apple II. They had also released many other pieces of technology like the Apple Silentype and the Disc II. -
Apple III was released.
Apple III was the successor of the Apple II computer however, ut was called a failure in the market. It had similar features to the Apple II computer and that was one of the reasons it was considered a failure. It was discontinued in 1984.
