    PONG is released
    PONG, one of the earliest arcade games, was released by Atari during 1972. It was very successful and helped establish the video game industry along with the first home console.
  • Steve Wozniak designs the Apple I

    Steve Wozniak designs the Apple I
    A personal computer, this was Apple's first product, designed and hand-built by Steve Wozniak. Released by the then Apple Computer Company, Steve Jobs had the idea of selling the computer.
  • TIME's Machine of the Year

    In 1983, TIME magazine released an issue with a PC as the "Machine of the Year,' as opposed to "Person of the Year."
  • Microsoft Word is released

    Microsoft Word is released
    A word processor developed by Microsoft, it was released to an unsuspecting public in 1983 and has grown to a staple for education in many public schools.
  • Photoshop is released

    Photoshop is released
    Created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll, Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems for Windows and OS X. Since it's creation, it has become an industry standard in raster graphics editing, to the point where the word “photoshop” has become known as a verb.
  • The NINTENDO64 is released

    The NINTENDO64 is released
    Nintendo's third home video game console for the international market, it was named for it's 64-bit central processing unit, and has sold 32.93 million units worldwide. It was released with a range of different colors and designs, and an assortment of limited-edition controllers were sold or used as contest prizes during the system's lifespan.

    iTunes is released
    In 2001, iTunes was released. It is a media player, media library, online radio broadcaster, and mobile device management application developed by Apple Inc. Used to play, download, and organize media such as video and illegally downloaded music that was ripped off of YouTube.
  • The First Generation iPhone is released

    The First Generation iPhone is released
    On June 29th, 2007, the first generation iPhone was released by Apple. Featuring a touch screen and internet access, the iPhone has quickly grown, with the millionth iPhone sold 74 days after the original release.

    Mey receives their first iPhone
    Although the exact date I recieved it is unknown, I received it sometime in early 2012, while I was still 11. It was a hand-me-down is probably the biggest thing to happen to me besides being born, and whether that is a good or a bad thing is entirely up to what I think.
