    • Created by Tim Berners-Lee (With help and support from Robert Cailliau)
    • Was the beginning of what would eventually develop into the web we know today
    • It's helped expand the amount of information available to people, and simplified the ability to spread that information across the world.
  • Linux Kernal is Released

    Designed by Linus Torvalds. It served as a base kernal, in which many people/companies developed and improved on throughout the years. It's still in use today in some phones and computers.
  • Apple Newton

    Thought of by Steve Sakoman (Later picked up by John Sculley after Steve left apple).
    One of the most popular handheld computers, unfortunately it didn't perform as well as expected. However, it had many features that would appear in future handheld computers.
  • Windows 95

    Windows 95
    Improved upon Windows 3.1.
    Was installed on more computers than any other OS.
    Popularized the Windows operating system, and helped build it to what it is today.
  • iMac

    iMac
    With the affordable price it hoped to attract new and bring back existing consumers to Apple products, it was successful. Helped launch Apple into the company it is today, saving the company from potential disaster.
