  • The Apple Lisa was Created

    The Apple Lisa was Created

    Steve Jobs and his co founder created the Apple Lisa, which was the first GUI computer. This GUI allowed for much more people to be able to use a computer as they didn't need to know the right lines of code to access a program.
  • Pentium Chip Created

    Pentium Chip Created

    Intel introduced the Pentium microprocessor that had multiple processors in one chip, allowing for higher speeds and better graphics performance
  • Wi-Fi is Created

    Wi-Fi is Created

    Wi-Fi was created, allowing for devices to receive internet connections using electromagnetic waves. This means that computers could be used more freely, without the need of a lan cable.
  • AMD creates Athlon 64

    AMD creates Athlon 64

    This processor was the first 64-bit processor, meaning that it can process more information at a time. This lead to a big jump in CPU performance.
