The postal system started in 1776 by Benjamin Franklin. They had created the postal system to send messages such as invitations or updates to tell people who are a long way away that things are happening or they are coming to stay. -
Camera
The first camera was invented in 1816 by Nice'phore Niepce. The camera was invented because many people wanted to see the town or the people there. For an example some family friends wanted to see the pictures of you and your family at the beach. -
Telegraph
The telegraph was made in the 1840s by Samuel Morse. The telegraph is just like the newspaper. They had given it out to a lot of people and it gave many people to do something. They told stories and also told all the big events that were happening or coming up. -
Typewriters
The first typewriter was made in 1868 by Carlos Glidden. Typewriters were made to give people messages and be more neat other than writing. If you made a mistake you would have to start again and it would take along time. -
Telephone
The telephone was invented in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell. The telephone was made to give messages quicker if somebody was there with you in person. Say a person had passed away and one of the close friends didn't know because they lived in another town. -

The internet was created by Tim Berners-Lee in 1955 -
Cellphones
The first cellphone was invented April 3, 1973 by Martin Cooper. -
Personal computer
The first personal computer was created in 1975 by Steve Wozniak. -
Television
The first television was created in 1987 by Philo Taylor Farnsworth.
