Hieroglyphs were pictures or symbols put together to make words and it was carved in stone or painted on tombs or written on papyrus (Papyrus is a plant). -

They used pictures and their language in the books to communicate and most of their books were destroyed except for 4 books called the Codices. -

It was usually used to send a message to thousands of people. It is basically an olden time megaphone. Ex- In war, they need it to address everyone that the enemy is approaching. -

The system was basically someone on a chariot who delivers messages. It was the most improved postal system in the ancient times and it can cover 270+ Km in an entire day. The reason it can cover so much is- that there are places where the messenger can switche horses so the tired horses won't slow him down. -

The Royal road was like postal service system built by Darius the Great so he could send and collect information through his empire and later the Romans also used the Royal road. -
