The Goonies
The Goonies is an adventure, family film, which is all about a group of young boys who stumble on a treasure map and decide to pursue it trying to find “free willy”. However the innocent trip becomes risky when a group of grown men decide to look for the treasure too. It then becomes more exciting as they are battling against each other. I like this film, as it is very funny and entertaining. This film is when children were watching more films so they had to make films for families like this. -
Dirty Dancing
Dirty dancing is a romantic film about a young woman called baby, who goes on holiday with her family. The shy, tedious woman soon becomes a great dancer not by choice. However she falls in love, not only with the new dancing style but her suborn, strict dancing partner too. The two of them reluctantly work together and eventually fall in love. The technology used would have been rally good at the time but now it looks dated however I really adore this film because its an odd romance. -
Forest Gump
Forest Gump is defiantly one of my favourite films ever. The film strikes me the most because Forest seems to handle situations very well regardless off his poor intellect and social skills.. The film is set out so he is telling people on a bus stop all about his life. I think this is very clever how the story is told. Furthermore the film shows real innocence to this sweet man that seems oblivious to his complicated surroundings. -

I feel this is a really well thought out film and they have made it as exciting as possible. -
Mean Girls
Mean girls is a definite coming of age film. It’s about a new girl called Cady, who joins a school and how she finds out about some mean girls. She continues to hang around them in order to make their life a misery to get them back. However, in all the excitement and planning she then starts to show signs that she is oblivious that she is turning into one herself. As it is coming an older film I feel like film is put together fair basic but I still think it is a great film. -
Superbad
Superbad is a film about two unpopular boys at a high school who seize their last chance to be popular at a big school party. They have the biggest job for the party, supply the alcohol. The problem is they have limited time, no money and are not old enough to purchase it. This is defiantly one of the funniest films of 2007 as a lot of random and funny things happen during all one night. -
Juno
Juno is a teen drama about a girl, Juno, gets pregnant as a young teenager by her boyfriend, which was not intentional. The film goes through realistically how a teenager would cope with such a big responsibility. At first they seem to cope well and seem fairly relaxed. However throughout the film as the pressures build up so their relationship breaks down. The opening of the film is also seen as a popular opening as it is in cartoon, which is innocent and looks like the teenagers have done it. -
Angus, Thongs and Pefect Snogging
Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging is defiantly a film for young teenage girls. Georgia is a typical teenage girl that tries’ to tackle her embarrassing life. Throughout the film Georgia is trying to get the attention of a new boy at her school that she likes. She tries to make good impressions but constantly messes everything up. It is a definite comedy and is a real ‘feel good’ film. I also feel that the film is a bit messy which represents her life, which makes it a fun film to watch. -
The Karate Kid

Olive, a student at her school, makes her unpopularity change because of one secret that she told her friend that was she had slept with a boy, which was a lie. The secret then grew into a massive rumour and she finds herself turning into something she’s not. This films it shows how popular someone can become overnight, but also how life at school can be tough, which I feel teenagers can relate too. -
The Inbetweeners
The inbetweeners is originally a comedy TV show. They eventually made it into a film. I think this is one of the funniest films I have ever seen. The inbetweeners is about four schoolboys who aren’t necessarily unpopular but are popular either. All of them get up to so many funny adventures on their holiday trip and is brilliantly commentated by one boy. -

22 Jump street is the second film from 21 Jump Street (2012). 22 Jump street is about an investigation at a high school about the misuse of drugs. Two best friends who are officers go undercover to solve the mission. They got picked for the mission because of their last mission in which they completed- so it seems by a fluke. They have to repeat solving another mission just with a different content, which they struggle to do at first. This film is very funny and action packed. -
Fast and Furious 7
Fast and furious 7 is amazing and is the best and fast and furious film in my opinion and I feel it will be a coming of age film. The film is a follow on from the previous films. It is about a group of very best friends that thought there lives have returned to some extent of normality but they find themselves on the road again. They then have to find out truths about the past and keep their “family” together. The graphics in the film is also amazing as it is contains the newest of technology.
