The Stamp Act
The stamp act required all of the American Colonist to buy a tax of all of the printed paper that they used.

Townshend Act
This act was put in place to punish the colonist if they did something bad. It was a bunch of rules that you had to follow or you got punished.

Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was when some colonist were yelling at the British Soldier and they were throwing stuff at them and the soliders were told not to shoot but when one of them got hit they fired and killed about 5 people.

Tea Act
This act is when the colonist didn't want to pay taxes on tea so they made a big deal about it which leads up to the Boston Tea Party.

Boston Tea Party
This is when the colonist got made because they had to pay taxed on tea so they deicided to do something about it and so they went into the Boston Harbor and they threw all of the tea of the ship and into the water and ruined it.

the Intolerable act
This was an act that punished the colonist for throwing the tea into the water and ruining it so the king decide to punish them for what they did and part of this act is when the king also shut down the Boston Harbor.

Lexington and Concord
This was when the head of the Bristish soilders decided to try to capture John Hancock and Sam Adams but the colonist got drift of his plans and spread the word throughout the colonies. By the time that the Bristish got there the colonist were ready for them. -
Declaration of Independence
This is the most important part in American History. This is after the war for the colonist to free themselves from the British. Many great people wrote this document and it says that Americans are free and we are not controlled by another country.
