    Cultural Revolution

    China's communist leader Mao Zedong launched the cultural revolution.It was a sociopolitical movement in China from May 1966 to 1976.The goal was to preserve Chinese communism by purging remnants of capitalist and traditional elements from Chinese society.

  • Korean War

    North Korea and South Korea were involved in the Korean war. At least 2.5 million persons lost their lives. The war started in June 25, 1950 ended in July 27, 1953. The war took place throughout all of Korea. It began when soldiers from North Korea poured across the 38th parallel.

  • Iron curtain speech

    Winston Churchill was involved, he gave a speech.This took place at Fulton,Missouri in March 5, 1946.
