This event was big deal because it saved thousands of Germany citizens.

This is big deal because it shows that the world is divided.

This was created in response to the creation of NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) in 1915 and is also a result of an arms race between the Soviet Union and the U.S. This is important because this agency improves the science and technology of airplanes and space to be militarily advanced.

    The U-2 incident was the downing of an U.S. spy plane and capture of it's pilot by the Soviet Union in 1960. The Soviet Union and the U.S. cone to an agreement prior to this incident that neither of these countries would spy on each other. Therefore the downing of this plane is in response of the spying American airplanes. This is important because this action is a factor in the fact that the Soviet Union does not trust the U.S. and it shows an act of aggression.

In response to this Kennedy decides to retract the missiles we had pointing at the Soviet union in Turkey. This is a big deal because this is when we realized we were heading for nuclear war with the Soviet Union.
