    What : policy that Truman wrote to support all democratic countries.
    Who : Harry S. Truman, British Government, Congress.
    How : He was for Democracy and against Communism. It helped countries with money and supplies.
    Why : The British Government says that they will no longer support the Greek Civil War with Communist Party but Truman wanted to support them so he went for a speech to spread his idea about Doctrine.
  • Marshall Plan

    Marshall Plan
    What : It was an Economic Recovery Act for Europe.
    Who : Truman, George Marshall.
    How : The US provides economic assistance to restore the economy of postwar Europe.
    Why : It helps to rebuild the continent's economy and for the US this plan provides American markets and trades.

    What : Soviet Union controlled eastern Germany and forced blockade railroad, road and water access
    Who : Soviet forces, Western Germany.
    How : the US and United Kingdom airlifted food and fuel to Berlin.
