    This is Cultural, because his death affected, peoples emotions, and how the U.S. was governed.

    When Greece and Turkey were in danger of falling into communism, The U.S. decided to help them defend against it, by giving the countries $400 million dollars. This effort works, and Greece and Turkey successfully win the battle of communism.

    Plan created by the U.S. Secretary of State at the time, George Marshall. It was money, the united States was willing to give Europe to help the rebuild. Europe denied the money, because they didn't want to be in dept to the U.S.

    First big conflict, Started when the UN lead by U.S. forces aided North Korea. China and the USSR gave aid, military support, and Weapons to support the north. The war ends in a stalemate, after going back and fourth over the 38th parallel.

    This included the "satellites" This was another treaty between Albania, Bulgaria, Czech., E. Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Romania. This treaty is more about forced loyalty to each other. there is more threat in leaving, then if war would arise, and support was needed. (Note Guide)
    This is Political, because it is a treaty between governments.

    The Cuban government was overthrown in 1959 with the support of the soviet union. The U.S. wanted to overthrow the communist regime, so they invaded 1961. After this all diplomatic relations were cut off. (Note Guide)
    I see this as Intellectual, because of the planing that went into the takeover and the invasion.

    The Soviet Union sent nuclear missiles into Cuba. The U.S. responded by creating a blockade around Cuba. John F. Kennedy demanded, that the Missiles be removed. Eventually the Soviet Union, went to Cuba and took the missiles back.

    A Nuclear plant that blew up in Russia. A Nuclear plant that blew up in Russia. The U.S. people had no idea how many people died due to lack of communication. All the U.S. knew is the number of injuries must have been large, because they knew the blast radius. They also knew of the radiation poisoning that must have been going on.

    A wall was built between East and West Berlin. Its purpose was to keep Fascism from entering Germany. It fell in 1989 and remains an endearing part of WWI. This could be seen as Social, it was a social boundary. They didn't want the fascism to spread, so they created a wall, so that they would not communicate. (History.com)
