geronimo was the leader of a tribe, that had continuing fights with the mexicans and americans. they would go around raiding mexican towns, and later american towns in arizona. -
Wounded Knee Massacre
it was the last battle of the American Indian War. 150 men, women, and children were killed. 41 others were wounded.
