    Confederate soldiers charged with their bayonets at the Union officers.People from the north thought they would win that they even had picnics and watched.

    The Confederates won the battle and the Union had around 87,000 soldiers, while the Confederates had only 38,000.

    It was a given order and it was signed by Lincoln to free slaves, It did not free the slaves in the loyal border states.
