Captain David Farragut was the leader for the U.S. The Union won this battle. It was important because it completed he control of the Mississippi river towards the union. -

General Mclellan led the union and General Lee. Nobody won this battle because it was a tie. It was important because the union stopped Lee from pushing into Northern Territory. -

For the union it was General Amborse Burnside, and General Lee. The confederacy won. It was important because the confederacy won again. -

General Lee & General Jackson for the confederacy. General Hooker led their troops into battle for the U nion. The confederacy on this battle. It was important because it ruined the unions strategy in attacking richmond -
The Battle of Gettysburg
For the union, it was General Meade leading his army, and General Lee and General Pickett for the South. The union won. It was important because it smothered the hope for help from Britain and France. -
The Vicksburg Siege.
General Ulysses S. Grant for the north, and everyone for the south. The union won. it was important because it split the confederacy in half and lost control of the Mississippi. -
Shermans marfch to the sea.
Sherman went about destroying crops and homes all the way to the coast as he freed slaves. They also joined in too. -
The Wilderness campaign
Ulysses S. Grant for the union, grant won and General Lee had to retreat into a different area. -
Farragut at mobile bay.
Farragut led a batallion of 18 ships through the bay confederacy fired with torpedoes and fired at the ships. Farraguts ships made it out and won. It was important because they got by the confederates, and split the confederacy. -
Fall of Richmond
Lincolns men would dance and sing for the fall of richmond and they would celebrate with parties.
