  • The last attack for the Lee Army takes place in Petersburg, Virginia

  • The Stars and Stripes ceremony is held for celebration at the Fort Sumter, that night Lincoln was shot in the head at Ford's theater by John Wilkes Booth. That night Lincoln dies.

  • Vice President Andrew Jackson becomes president
