Brown V. Board of Education
The Brown v. Board of Education case was about a girl, Linda Brown, who had to walk miles to go to school because she was denied the right to go to a closer school, which was majority white. The court ruled that segregation is unconstitutional because it denied "equal protection" from the 14th Amendment. As a reslt, the Sibley Commission was made. This gave Georgians an "opinion" if schools should be intergrated or not. Though this was made, it was pointless and didn't have a resulting effect. -
