    Why: this showed people how things were going out of hand

    What: refused to follow instructions to sit in the back of the bus, and eventually started a boycott.

    Why: It was the begining of black standing up for their rights.

    What: rode a bus to new orleans to get to a rally, but were servearly injured by KKK members, and other rioters

    Why: this showed that people were starting to get out of hand, and were killing people for just riding a bus.

    Why: This was the children's way of protesting, and that got the attention of alot of people.

    What: killed by a bombing by the KKK.
    Where: Birmingham, Alabama
    Why: the sevierity of the bombing boosted the civil rights movement, and was influential to the civil rights act.

    What: shot at close range, crashed, and police found hundreds of bodies in lake.

    Why: This showed people what was happening and how dangorus this was becoming.
