Rosa Parks went to jail because she refused to give her seat to a white man. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. led the boycot. African Americans stopped riding the bus for 11 months until the court said that it was unconstitutional. -
Little Rock Nine
Nine kids went to an all white school in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Governer brought in the National Guard to stop the student from going to school. Then President Eisenhower sent the U.S National Guard to enforce Brown v. Board of Education. -
