Montgomery Bus Boycott
Bus laws were made so that all black would sit on the back and all white sat in the front of the bus and after seeing that this law was unconstitutional, the government finally took action and desegregated the buses and the bus laws were taken away so that all people got to sit where they wanted. -
March on Washington
The March on Washington was a culminating event in the Civil Rights Movement. 250,000 people listened to speeches in Washington DC about Civil Rights. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous I have a Dream speech and eventually, because of the march the Civil Rights Act was passed.
