The supreme court was held and the court agreed that segregation in public schools was unconstitutional. Created a lot of mad people. -
Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks refused to sit in the back of the bus which made a lot of whites mad. Afterwards a bus boycott was started. -

Nine African American kids were sent to desegregate a school in little rock but failed due to the governer who refused to let them in the school. -
Freedom Riders
Student volunteers take bus trips through the south but get attacked by angry white mobs during the trip. -
Martin Luther's Speech
200,000 people show up at the white house to listen to Martin Luther King give the "I have a dream" speech.
