Four African Students had a sit-in at Woolwoth's in Greensboro, NC. They weren't made to leave, but they were not served. -
Freedom Rides
College students amon others joined together to ride buses down into the deep south to fight inequality. These people were met by many southerns and they were beaten/killed. -
March On Washington
March was led by MLK Jr. as a non-violent protest to fight2 inequality. Thousands attended and filled the mall in Washington D.C. -
