42 year old rosa parks was on the bus after a day of work. then refused to give up her seat to a white man. she was then arresterd and started the boycott. -

over 200,000 demonstraters took action in march on washington for jobs and freedom. for full citizen freedom they knew what they had to do. while the march on washington happened martin luther king gave his I HAVE A DREAM speech.
