    Emmett Till Murder
    A 14-year-old, African American boy, from Chicago, visiting his family in Money, Mississippi. Till talked "fresh" to the white woman. The woman's husband, Roy Bryant, and her brother-in-law, J.W. Milman, went to get Till. They dragged him out to her to verify that he was the boy who whistled at her. They took Till and beat him severely for days and days. They ended up killing him and throwing his body in a river. His family gave him an open casket funeral to show the world what they did to him.

    Rosa Parks & The Montgomery Bus Boycott
    Rosa parks sat on the front row of the "colored only" section on the bus. The seat began to fill up and when the seats were full, African Americans were told to give up their seats for white people. Rosa parks refused to give her seat to the white man. She was fined $10 and arrested for this act. This act lead the black people to boycott the busses and eventually, the busses were going bankrupt because of it

    The Nine African Americans were selected to attend a school down south, Central US in Little Rock Arkansas, in 1957. National attention was bought when there were people blocking the entrance for the students. The president sent soldiers to guard the people from getting mobbed, screamed, and attacked.
