Denmark and Norway are invaded

Germany invades The large countries of Denmark and Norway.

Jun 10, 1942

Allied navies halt Japanese naval advance

The American and British navies halt the Japanese advance at central pacific.

Oct 23, 1942

British beat axis powers at El Alamein, Egypt

The British beat the Germans and Italians at El Alamein, Egypt,
preventing the axis powers from going any farther.

Jul 10, 1943

Allied powers take Sicily

British and American troops land in Sicily, and take it over by mid
August.

Jul 6, 1944

Allied front is placed on Normandy

British and American powers land on Normandy, and succesfully establish a "second front".

Apr 30, 1945

Hitler dies

Hitler commits suicide in an underground bunker. This is an especially important event, because it lowered the troops morall,
and gave the allies an extra boost to win the war.

Aug 6, 1945

Nuke dropped on Hiroshima

After months of making a nuclear bomb, the Americans win the arms race. The damage on Hiroshima because of the nuke is great, and the illions dead greatly lower morall for Japanese soldiers.
