Early Life
Christopher Robert Evans was born on June 13, 1981, in Boston Massachusetts. Chris grew up in Sudbury with his family. His father worked as a dentist and his mother was working with a local youth theatre. Chris and his siblings were all interested in musicals. He also attended an acting camp as a kid. He has 3 siblings, two sisters, and a brother. Before his final year of high school, he hooked a summer internship at a casting company in New York City. -
Early Roles
In school, Chris would always act in school plays and local theatre productions. He began his career when he acted in an educational film called "Biodiversity: Wild About Life!" He was sixteen years old when he acted in the short film. -
Breakthrough
Some movies he starred in during 2005 - 2010 are The Nanny Diaries, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sunshine, and the Fantastic Four Movies. Playing Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four films was his first comic book role. In the movie TMNT, Chris played the character, Casey. The movie was released on March 17, 2007, and was a big hit as it grossed $95M worldwide against a budget of $34 million. The film The Nanny Diaries is a rom-com film. He starred in it alongside the actress Scarlett Johansson. -
The First Captain America Film
Chris started his marvel career a few years before captain America when he starred in the two Fantastic Four movies. He first played Steve Rogers in 2011 in "Captain America: The First Avenger". In 2010, he signed to play Steve in multiple films. At first, he turned down the role but after a talk with Robert Downey Jr., he decided to take the role. The movie was a huge success earning over $370M worldwide box office. He was in the movie with Sebastian Stan who starred in other marvel movies too. -
Captain America (continued)
A year after The First Avenger was released Evans starred in the movie The Avengers. The Avengers are a group of superheroes who came together to help save the world. He starred in the movie with Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Hemsworth. He later went on and filmed two other Captain America movies, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Captain America: Civil War. He also filmed three other Avengers films, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. -
Work after Avengers
In 2018, he played in the sequel Avengers: Infinity War, and in April 2019, Avengers: Endgame, the fourth sequel. He finished filming all his Avengers work in October of 2018. Chris made his Broadway debut in the play Lobby Hero which opened in March 2018 at the Helen Hayes Theatre in New York City. Due to his amazing performance in the play, he was nominated for a Drama League Award. In 2019, he played the character Ransom Drysdale in the mystery film Knives Out. -
Love Life
Currently, Chris Evans is not in a relationship. However, there are many rumors of him being in a relationship but it is not confirmed. At the moment, it is rumored that he and singer, Selena Gomez, are dating but it is not confirmed and there is no proof. Another rumor spread on TikTok that Lizzo and the actor were dating after Instagram DMs between the two was leaked to social media. As the other rumor, there is also no proof of this relationship. -

Upcoming Projects
One of his upcoming coming movies this year is a Netflix original, called "The Gray Man". He's starring in the movie alongside the actor, Ryan Reynolds. There is no exact date for the movie to release yet. The movie is also being directed by the same directors as most of the MCU movies he starred in. Another upcoming film is Lightyear, based on the Disney character BuzzLightyear.
