    The International Association of Factory Inspectors inspect factories and enforce laws or acts and comply. The International Association of Factory Inspectors enforce safety and health laws and make sure children aren't getting hurt because children are work near dangerous machines which can even kill them so the inspectors make sure that they are safe.     March of The Mill Children
    Mary Harris Jones went to Pennsylvania to lead a strike by 75,000 textile workers to petition President Roosevelt to support child labor laws. Mary Harris Jones seized on a march mainly of young workers as a way to publicize the strike and also expose the evils of child labor and why it should end.

    The National Child Labor Commitee
    The National Child Labor Commitee, is an organization that was dedicated to abolishing child labor. The National Child Labor Commitee established the Children's Bureau and they worked for passage of state and federal legislation to ban most forms of child labor, and to promote compulsory education in all states because children weren't getting that education because they were working all day.   • The Bitter Cry of Children

    The Bitter Cry of Children
    Muckraker John Spargo wrote The Bitter Cry of Children, exposing the conditions of child labor in the country. No one really knew what the conditions were like in industries except for the workers of course and this book exposed the horrific working conditions of child laborers and it opened people's eyes to how children are working and the places they are working in and it boiled up anger and determination to end child labor. (I don't know the exact day or month that the book was published.)
  • Children's Bureau

    Children's Bureau
    The Children's Bureau is a federal agency organized under the U.S Department of Health and human services' administration for children and families today. The Children's Bureau focused on decreasing infant morality and they studied children's working conditions by visiting child laborers homes and workplaces. The studies helped to reveal the currency and nature of child labor in the United States. (I don't know the exact date of this entry)
  • The Keating-Owens Act

    The Keating-Owens Act
    The Keating-Owens Act enacted by Congress which addressed child labor by prohibiting the sale in intestate commerce of goods produced by factories that employed children under fourteen, mines that employed children younger than sixteen, and any facility where children under sixteen worked at night or more than eight hours daily. Children had to work literaly all day long which stopped them from going to school and learning and getting an education. (I don't know the exact date of this entry)

    The Global March Against Child Labor came out in 1998 due to an overwhelming response of the need to end child labor. It was a grassroot movement that motivated many people and organizations to come together and fight against child labor and not an annual march. (I don't know the exact date of this entry)
  • The Fair Labor Standards Act

    The Fair Labor Standards Act
    The Fair Labor Standards Act establishes minimum wage, overtime pay, and youth employment standards. Children weren't being payed enough money to support their families so the minimum wage was $7.25 per hour which means they can't be payed less than $7.25 so now they can actually support their families. (I don't know the exact date of this entry)
