He could'nt do that due to the passage of Tenure of Office, ths law made it impossible for the president to dismiss important government officials without the permission of the Senate. Johnson proceeded to do so and was put on trial and he was found guilty. -

Discovery of the Nutron in Germany
James chadwick was a physicist in Germany who discovered the nutron by useing a scattering data to calculate the mass of this neutral particle. Ernest Rutherford discovered the proton, but other physicts found out there was other things inside the Nucleus. James Chadwich studied atomic disintegration and found out the atomic number was less than the atomic mass. Then Rutherford thought there could be a partical with charge, but still can have mass. This is how James discovered the neutron. -
Begining of World War II
Shortly after the beginning of World War II, Pearl Habor USA was bombed by the japanese. In retaliation the U.S. dropped two atomic bombs, one in Hiroshima and the other in Nagasaki Japan.
