The Treaty of Versailles ended World War I with Germany signing the treaty and taking responsibility for causing the war. Germany agreed as the antagonist and was forced to pay for all war damages which left them millions of dollars in debt. They also had the power to occupy troops in Rhineland for 15 years after the war ended . -

Hitler was fond of Mussolini before Hitler lead Germany into war, and this brough their relationship closer and made it easy for Hitler to influence Italy later in the war. -

After the Great Depression in Germany, Adolf Hitler took Germany by the horns and lead them into a dictatorship making promises and using careful words to gain a following. He made strategic pacts and his gift of gab to influence neighbouring countries and the German people. -
Germany Sends Troops to Rhineland
Adolf Hitler sends troops to Rhineland on behalf of Germany. Hitler wanted to conjoin Austria and Germany but feared France would send in troops to resist Germany, which would result in war. Hitler sending troops into Rhineland was a violation against the Treaty of Versailles which showed Hitlers first signs of rebelion. -

Hitler makes a friendly pact with the Soviet Union to avoid the possibility of war on multiple fronts. Another strategic move creating a greater German threat. -

Germany invaded Poland with the purpose to gains control over the east in hopes of moving north to invade Russia. Hitler was rebelling against his signed treaty with the support of his people, in hope to gain power of countries that shamed Germany in WWI and regain economic stability. -
Britian and France Declare War on Germany
Hitler has violated the treaty and occupied Czechoslovakia after Germany attacked Poland, which France and Britian promised to defend. Britian and France ordered Hitler to evacuate Poland, but he refused, leading to Britain and France declaring war on Germany.
