The Ghost of Christmas Past, who was the first spirit to visit Scrooge after the ghost of Marley, arrived as the clock chimed one. It took Scrooge to scenes from his own past, showing him visions of his own childhood, of his young adulthood and of happier times. The final scene he presented was one that Scrooge could not bear to witness: his lost love, Belle, with her family. -
The Second Ghost came
The second spirit, who was the Ghost of Christmas Present. He was the one who took Scrooge to the Cratchit family where he saw the humility with which the family tolerated its poverty. The sight of Tiny Tim, who was sick and weak, saddened him.
