Education
Charles Darwin was a well educated man who was a naturalist, geologist, and biologist. Despite this he found school lessons boring and had to leave the University of Edinburgh Medical School as he was not taking his studies seriously. His father sent him to Christ's College in Cambridge where he graduated in 1831. -
Voyage on HMS Beagle ended
Darwin traveled on the Beagle for nearly five years in which time he studied many different species and their fossils in different regions which helped develop his theories. -
Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection
This book was not Darwin's first book however it is one of his most influential. This book goes into great detail regarding how speciecies evolve to meet the geography and climate of where they live. The weaker of the species who are unable to evolve eventually die off. Darwin was very thorough even including some arguments against his theory. Darwin, Charles. The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex
This particular book discusses how different species will choose their mates based on strong qualities that can be passed down to offspring. In doing this we are increasing our species chances for survival. -

Darwin passed on April 19th, 1882 and was buried in the Westminster Abbey
