  • Charles Darwin- Beagle Voyage

    Charles Darwin set sail on the HMS Beagle which was a 5-year journey around the world. During his time in South America and the Galapagos, Darwin collected a number of bird specimens as well as examine plants, and geology. It was during this time that he began to establish his theory of Evolutionary Biology.
  • Theory of Natural Selection

    During Darwin's time in London after his five-year trip on the HMS Beagel. The samples of wildlife he brought back were examined and amongst the birds he found thinking they were among different species, it was realized they were all finches with different traits that were specific to the environment they lived in. After years of pondering and sifting through evidence. Darwin finished his theory called the Theory of Natural Selection.
  • The Origin of Species

    Dealing with criticism from his peers and being accused of blasphemy for his Theory of Natural selection and evolution through the 1840s. Darwin was finally able to begin work on his book The Origin of Species by Natural Selection. Which took his work from the HMS Beagle, as well as experiments conducted at home and placed them in one writing. Although there was criticism more people started to agree with Darwin's theory
  • Darwin's death

    Darwin suffered from Angina and as he was finishing his last book "Formation of Vegetable Through the Action of Worms" suffered a stroke in March, then later died of a heart attack in April.
