Around The World on The HMS Beagle
After completing his bachelor's degree at Cambridge, Darwin received an invitation to join the HMS Beagle on their journey around the world as a naturalist. Having to pay for his place on the ship was a small price. He was at liberty to collect specimens and use them however he desired back home. Darwin wrote about all his observations at every new place he visited throughout the five-year journey. -

Survival of the fittest
Darwin mentioned the term survival of the fittest in his fifth edition of "On The Origin Of Species"(1859). Stating that the species best suited for the current environment they are living in will survive. -
Evolution
