    Voyage Around the World
Starting in December of 1831, and ending in October of 1836, Charles Darwin joined Robert FitzRoy on a voyage around the world. Darwin spent most of his time studying different subjects that would later directly affect his work that he completes. He was researching plants, animals, fossils and geological formations. His work during this voyage established him as an eminent geologist.
  • Natural Selection

    Natural Selection
Charles Darwin, the founder of the idea of "Natural Selection". In 1838, two years after his voyage, he took all of the information he gathered and put it to work. He conceived this idea that creatures evolve from what the encounter throughout their lives and also ended up doing work with sexual selection and how exactly we look for a partner. A basic definition of this would be that us creatures do what we want and need to survive, reproduce and continue our ilves. This leads into evolution.
  • Evolutionary Biology

    Evolutionary Biology
I decided to use the date of 1859 for this because of his book release about evolution, "On the Origin of Species". Darwin was gathering information for this starting on his voyage. This ties in very closely with Natural Selection and how what is happening to a species in their present is going to affect the future of that species physically, mentally and emotionally. This is how Darwin describes why and how species change over the centuries.
