Charles Darwin's lifespan
Charles Darwin lived to be the 73 yeas old. He had a lot of health issues but as soon as his ideas were taken in the scientific community his health improved almost immediately.

Education
He followed in his fathers footsteps to try to become a doctor and studied at Edinburgh University. Edinburgh attracted free thinkers like Darwin and it gave him the opportunity to talk about his theories of evolution. -
Setting sail
After school Darwin went on a 5 year voyage visiting 4 different continents. He collected specimens and investigated local geology. -
Writing
Darwin began to see how transmutation happened. Animals suited to their environment have more offspring. He called this process natural selection and started writing about his travels. -
Darwin decides to go public
He received a letter from an admirer stating he is stumbling upon what Darwin already knows. Darwin decides it is time to go public before Wallace publishes his findings but invited Wallace into the same meeting so they both get credit for their discoveries. -
Darwin passes
Darwin worked everyday all the way up until he passed.
