    After not finding any interest in medical school. Charles Darwin's father enrolled him in Cambridge University in hopes that he would become a clergyman of the church of England. Charles would graduate after 3 years with high marks in a B.S. of arts.

    The Voyage of Beagle

    From the years of 1831- 1836 Charles would embark on a voyage on one of the British royale navy survey ships. On this voyage Charles would make discoveries that change the of science. He would make discoveries about evolution and the adaption that was before unsee.
  • Scientific result

    After returning back from the voyage, Charles had erected a 37-page pamphlet of all the different things he had seen. He had collected specimens of different finches as well as different types of fossils. He then presented these discoveries to the geological society of London.
  • Publication

    He finally published his findings about his discoveries about finches he found on different islands in the Galapagos islands. Even though he could've had them published by 1939. He noted how different species were similar but had different adaptations for food among the different islands.

    Charles Darwin Brought the new ideology that species gradually change over time to adapt to surroundings. This was important because it made people think more about their surroundings. To actually take in what goes around as of taking things at face value.
