He went so far as to say humans are descendants of apes. This book describes how humans came to evolve.     In this book, Darwin refuted the beliefs of Charles Bell that animals and man have different expressions of emotion, stating that they are actually very similar. For example, both purse their lips while concentrating. By giving examples of similar expressions, Darwin furthered his argument that men and animals come from common ancestors.
