The Humble beginning
The main character Charlie Bucket, is a small boy living with his parents and grandparents in a small, run down house outside the city. His family are not very wealthy, they are actually very poor.
Charlie loves Wonka chocolate. -

The Golden Opportunity
The owner of Wonka Chocolate, Willy Wonka announces a contest where he will let five children into his chocolate factory, He placed 5 golden tickets, in 5 delicious Wonka chocolates. This was Charlies dream, entering the Wonka chocolate factory, his golden opportunity. -

The Golden Ticket
After Charlies third attempt at getting the golden ticket from a Wonka bar, even though his family does not have money enough to buy multiple Wonka bars, he manages to get the golden ticket, this makes Charlie Bucket extremely happy. With this ticket he will join four other lucky children and enter the famous Wonka chocolate factory. -

A Dream Becomes True
When the day arrives, the special day when Charlie Bucket a small boy from a poor family is allowed to enter the famous Wonka Factory, he brings his grandfather, grandpa Joe, with him to the Wonka factory. He meets the other children who he will go on the tour with. He meets Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregard, Veruca Salt and Mike Teavee. -

The Process of Elimination
Through out the tour of the Wonka Chocolate factory all the children except Charlie Bucket misbehaves, or does something they are not supposed to do. All the children except Charlie, have their own unique way of getting sendt home. So at the end of the tour Charlie is the only one remaining including his grandpa. -

A fudge filled ending
Augustus is the first to leave the Wonka Factory. When Augustus Gloop tries to drink out of the chocolate river, he falls into the river and gets drawn up by a pipe and gets sent to the factories fudge room, Augustus Gloop leaves the factory having lost most of his weight, and covered in melted chocolate. -

To much gum
Violet Beauregarde gets sent home when she, begins to chew a pice of gum Wonka did not want her to eat. anyway, ignoring Wonka's protests. However, the blueberry pie stage is defective, which causes Violet to turn blue, inflate, and expand into a giant blueberry. Then she is sent to the juicing room where she is turned into her normal form, and becomes more flexible. -

Money can't buy everything
Veruca salt has to leave the factory when she demands her parents to buy a sq.uirrel form the nut room, where they sort bad nuts and good nuts, Wonka refused, so she goes in and get one for herself, but the squirrels grabbed her and declared her a bad nut; after that, both she and her parents are thrown down the garbage chute, all three Salts are seen exiting the factory "covered in garbage" -

To much TV
Mike Teavee has to go home because during a display of miniaturization technology, used to transport chocolate, Mike shrinks himself to a tiny size, Wonka has an Oompa-Loompa take the Teavee family to the Gum-Stretcher Room to get Mike stretched back to normal. Mike is last seen exiting the factory, over stretched. -

Down the Chocolate River
After the departure of Augustus Gloop, the rest of the children enter a viking shaped boat made of candy. The Oompa-Loompa's are rowing the boat down the river, this is an important part of the story since its what showes the children that, what might seem impossible is possible. -

The Glass Elevator
After the process of elimination, and all the other children were sent home, Charlie Bucket and his grandpa were the only ones left with Willy Wonka. Willy Wonka tok grandpa Joe and Charlie in the famous glass elevator, which could take them any where they wanted. When they are in this glass elevator Willy Wonka congratulates Charlie for being the only child that has not misbehaved, so Willy Wonka tells Charlie that he has won the factory this makes Charlie extremely happy. -

The Happy Ending
After Charlie is told that him and his family can take over the factory and live their he moves in with his family, and he they live happily ever after in their new home running the world famous Wonka chocolate Factory.
