  • Summary

I feel like the most significant event was 9/11. The reason I feel this was so significant is because so many lives were lost that day and it was a huge shock for all of the US. Two of the most famous buildings in NYC were destroyed and loads of people lost loved ones on that tragic day. It also changed the way a lot of people viewed Muslims, which is pretty sad to think about. Overall, I believe that out of all the things that happened during the decade, 9/11 was for sure the more significant.
