    Greeks, Russians, Hungarians, Italians, Turks, and Poles arrived to the U.S. from eastern and southern Europe. It supplied 80% of all immigrants in the United States. In addition to Europe, many people came to the u.S. from China and Japan after the Civil War.The new immigrants had trouble blending in with the society.
