  • Pinckney's Treaty

    The Pickney's Treaty was treaty signed against the Spanish. Pickney wanted to meet with the Spanish officials in order to discuss the issue or Spain owning the border from Florida to the US. Pickney was worried that Great Britain would join the Spaniards and defeat the US, but good things come to those who wait. In October 1795, the Spanish officials agreed to sign the Pickney's Treaty
  • The French Revolution

    The French citizens were all starting to disagree with their King and his laws. So they started to rebel against the king. At first, most of the people were hesitant because they didn't want to all be killed for their actions. But then they realized that the Americans had a revolution, so the french could do the same. And after all of that happened, the Americans started supporting the French to overthrow the king.
  • Jay's Treaty

    The Jay's Treaty was a treaty signed to settle the disputes that had arisen between the United States and Great Britain. Since the British and the Americans would fight so much, Justice John Jay wanted to end all of the fighting once and for all by opposing the treaty. The treaty offered for the United States to pay debts for the British. At first, the treaty didn't really spark anyone's attention. It took awhile for some of the citizens to agree with the treaty, but it happened.
  • Conflict In The Northwest Territory

    The Conflict in the Northwest Territory was all about the trouble between the Native Americans and the Americans. Wars were starting to happen all of the time. The indians were led by Chief Little Turtle, and the US were led by General Josiah Harmar. The conflict was really starting to build up and more and more deaths and wars were happening, until the last war, the US were going to settle this. In the final war, the Native Americans were finally defeated.
  • Reaction In The West

    People in the east coast were pretty salty about the tax rates. Meanwhile in the farms, the farmers corn crops were often made into whiskey, it could be easier to ship. The farmers that could only produce a small only a small amount of whiskey could not afford the taxes and they would go out of business. All of the protests led to Washington to saying that people had to obey the laws
  • The French Question

    A famous French executive asked the American Sailors to help France fight against Great Britain. When Washington heard this he said that using American Sailors would violate America's Neutrality. Therefore it was a bad idea. However, Jefferson was upset with Washington's decision because France had there back when America was fighting England. Then Hamilton came into the picture. He was pro-british. He wanted to strengthen trade routes to Britain. So they decided to resign.
  • The Neutrality Proclamation

    The Neutrality Proclamation was started when the US would not take sides with any European countries. This angered a lot of the countries because some of the countries helped the US when they were going through war. Washington made the agreement, but not many people agreed.
  • General Wayne Takes Command

    When the Americans and the Indians were still fighting, the generals were tired of the troops getting killed in these good for nothing battles. One specific general took command. His name was General Wayne. He taught his troops to be stronger and how to perform sneak attacks and weapon control. With his team, they managed to finally defeat the Indians.
  • Whiskey Rebellion Is Crushed

    The Whiskey Rebellion was a revolt against the US government for increasing the tax of whiskey. Whiskey was already hard enough to ship across the country, but increasing the price to ship it; thats just not right. The farmers who grew the corn were becoming broke and homeless because the corn industry was dying. And some of the citizens who liked to drink whiskey were also upset because there wasn't anymore of it. All of the citiznes went up to the president and demanded to lower the tax rate.
  • The End Of Conflict

    The End of Conflict was when the Americans drove the Indians out of their homeland because the americans defeated them so many times that they were forced to leave and settle off somewhere else. Everything was peaceful again and the US government was thriving. Until the government decided to increase the tax of corn and whiskey which started a whole new problem known as the whiskey rebellion.
  • Treaty Of Greenville

    After the Indians were defeated by General Wayne in 1794, the Indians settled in modern day Ohio and wanted peace in their homeland. That was where the treaty starts. In 1795, a ton of tribe leaders were happy to sign the treaty, but others were not so willing. The tribe leaders who didn't want it regret themselves. American generals sent some troops over to settle on the Native American's land, therefore forcing them to sign the Treaty of Greeneville.
