The first cell phone
In 1984 the first cell phone came out. This phone was sold for $4,000, which is a lot for a phone, The phone was 9-inches tall, weighed 2.5 pounds, and had 30 minutes of battery life. The cell phone was sold to wealthy entrepreneurs and people that work in finance. It took almost 10 hours to charge. “ The American Radio Telephone Service and Motorola to offer cell service in the Washington D.C. area, the company that sold and provided service for this DynaTAC phone”. It was called the brick.
