On this date, Germany and it's allies Britain, France, and Italy signed the " Treaty Of Versailles". The Treaty caused Germany to have to pay money back to Britain and France.

Appeasement is the act of giving in to an enemy’s demands in hopes of avoiding further conflict. itler did this with Czechoslovakia. Hitler demaned that Czechoslovakia cede the Sudetenland to Germany. Czechoslovakia did it to avoid a war with Hitler. -
